First meeting of The Baraza Lens, February 2026. Team leaders from One of Us, GGImages Media and Redefine Communication worked with the 24 selected photographers individually and in groups to go over their submissions and dicuss the finer points of photo selection, editing and portfolio design. It was also the first opportunity to meet each other and open up what has since become a robust dialogue on the ethics, aesthetics, and business aspects of working as a documentary, advocacy media photographer in Kenya today.

Panel discussion on the state of and future of Kenyan photography, at exhibiton and archive launch for The Baraza Lens. Moderated by Amunga Eshuchi of Redefine Communciations, panelists included Georgine Goodwin, founder of GG Images Media, and award-wining photographer and former Canon Ambassador; Salim Amin of Camerapix; Award-winning photojournalist and political activist Boniface Mwangi; and Baraaza Lens photographer Solomon Nyalo.
